PRESENT: General. Smith, Messrs. Wolf, Becker,
a. Reported that Garrison had returned from his trip abroad ir. connr~c= iorr
with procurement activities.
a. Noted that mobilization activities in Bulgaria were causin;_; some
concern; however, it was believed such activities were about the same in :;cave
as noted last year.

b. Reported that would soon formally propose tae
establishment of a subc e IAC for the purpose of provi~-a ing
intelligence support for psychological warfare -- this committee is to
be chaired by State . Mr . Becker went on to say that he had gone over tYr-A ~ .f>roposal
in draft form and would recommend its approval . In response to a q~.iery ~ .~~c~ ~
the Director, Mr. Becker said this committee would have representatl_on fr~~sa.
other agencies in addition to the IAC, particularly in view of the #'act it
had been determined that some non-IAC agencies have the capability of render--ing
the intelligence support in questiora.
