Stated that the Senior Staff at its meeting today planned to have a general review of any reports that should be furnished the NSC. After sorzt discussion, the DCI stated insofar as he was concerned at this moment he did not know of any paper that he desired prepared for the National Security Council. e. Noted that our people had given excellent coverage b. Reported that "the word had been laid down" concerning dispatch of policy cables as discussed at recent Deputies' Meetings. The Director stated that he hoped those concerned would not err too far on the other side and send all of their cables to him for approval. Mr. Wisner noted that he and his staff had undertaken to screen these cables. c.
