Stated that we continue to receive reports that personnel of several Soviet Embassies were exhibiting signs of nervousness apparently over fear of being recalled to Russia, and asked DD/P to report their observations in this regard. Reported that he had received a request from, several staff members of the Jackson Committee for the amounts of our expenditures in connection with The Director noted he was appearing before the Jackson Committee on the 29th and would discuss this matter with the Committee at that time.
