PRESENT: Mr. Dulles, General Cabell, Messrs. Wisner, Wolf, Amor,,!-,
Kirkpatrick, Colonel White, Messrs. Helms, Sheldon and

b. Stated that after General Erskine had been conn'irmed he be
invited here for an over-all briefing.
Noted that he had not seen the final draft of the Jackson CommiIftef
Report, however, he had been advised that it was ready to go to press
momentarily. After some discussion the Director stated he did not
believe that this report contained anything fundamentally which might
affect CIA and therefore did not believe it necessary to request a cor:,r
for examination and/or last minute changes prior to publication.
Reported that Mr. Broadbent of the Bureau of the Budget had not
to date returned his call in connection with our new building an
recommended that the Director get in touch with Mr. Dodge. DCI indicate-
he would do so.
Mr. Kirkpatrick:
Noted that Senators Magnuson and Dirksen had returned from their
trip to the Far East and suggested that the DCI might wish to call
one of them. The Director indicated he would get in touch with
Senator Dirksen.
Reported that Ambassador Stewart had requested a briefing and asked
if the Director wished to see him. Mr. Dulles stated that he did.
