and stated he desired to see the reply prior to dispatch.
Briefly reported on his conversation yesterday with representatives
of GSA in connection with Project 0 and noted recommendations on
this problem would be submitted to the Director. In connection with
this Project, Colonel White recommended that the sum ofof GSA
money now in our possession as a result of CIA participation in this
Project, be returned to that Agency. The Director approved.
b. Stated that the Department of the Army had approved our request
that I be recalled to active duty upon his retirement with
the rank of Brigadier General.
Noted that Admiral Espe plans to go to Europe in July and undertoox
to advise the appropriate Station Chiefs.
Mr. Kirkpatrick:
Reported that the revision of Confidential Funds Regulations was
nearing completion.
