PRESENT: Mr. Dulles, General Cabell, Messrs. Wolf, Amory, Kirkpatrick.
Helms, Colonel White and
a. Noted that: (1) Messrs. Donkin and Callahan of the AEC had
approached him with a proposal that representatives of CIA be appointed
to discuss with representatives of the AEC ways and means whereby CIA
could further assist the Commission and vice versa; (2) Donkin had
advised him that this request actually came from the Commissioners; (.)
he (DCI) had discussed this matter with Lewis Strauss and s_t had been
decided to hold in abeyance any action for the present time. Mr.
Dulles also noted that Mr. Strauss had mentioned a paper Dr. Chadwel
was rearing
and had asked for a copy. Mr. Amory undertook to suppler

Noted that at the request of General Donovan we had prepared a
piece on Thailand and asked if this should be forwarded to him in New Yo-k.
After some discussion it was decided that would hold this
paper until General Donovan's next trip to Washington at which time its
release would again be discussed.
