SUBJECT : Correction in Minutes of Deputies' Meeting,
1 June
I would like to substitute the following language to
replace "referred it to" in the fifth line ... to "in the
Houser Report to the McCarthy Committee.":
",..refused to release such data as they had to the
McCarthy Committee and so advised this Agency. We are also
advised that OIT was aware that Rear Admiral Houser,, Director,
Office of Legislative Liaison, Department of Defense, had made
certain information on this subject available to the Committee
but they did not know whether the material given contained any
of our source material."
