FBI. The Director said that any other pertinent portions of the above referred
to reports, which in judgement would be of interest to the Bureau,
could also be made available.

concerning General Donovan's fear that no one in the State Department is
aware of the complexities of the situation in Burma, and noted his inten-
tion to make this information available to General Smith.

Mr. Amory:
a. Asked whether we should furnish to the intelligence
information requested in a cable
(IN-25746). The Director said he would like to do this, if possible, and
noted that as returning to the United States for consultation
and he intended to see him. Mr. Sheldon suggested that
ae~ be cleared with the Department of State. The Director approved.
b. Stated that ]had asked for a statistical analyses of
