Noted tha was back in the U.S. and stated steps should be taken to debrief and brief him prior to taking his new assignment. The Director also expressed a desire to see hen he comes in. 25X1 b. Expressed the opinion that the should not be allowed to 25X1 participate in any American I I committee for a free Albaniza.. 25X1 noted he was gathering the facts on this matter and would furnish c. Expressed interest in any contact we might have with 0 25X1 whom he (DCI) has known for a long time, and noted he would per- sonally get in touch with f necessary. d. Referred to the course being conducted by I on Human Resources and stated Division Chiefs and their principal assistants shoul3 take full advantage of these sessions. General Cabell noted his intention to attend the first course on this subject and recommended that those preset at the Deputies' Meeting also attend this first session which was designed for Senior Staff Officers. e. Briefly discussed the situation in Guatemala and stated he was inclined to postpone for the time being the preparation of a national estimate on that area. Briefly reported on a conversation he and D/DCI had on 23 November wits the President of CAT. Colonel White recommended that any approach to the Bureau of the Budget involving OCB approved projects to be financed from the CIA reserve be made by CIA. The Director approved but stated the record should show that the OCB had approved the project in question--such record to be countersigned by the DCI.
