Helms, Kirkpatrick, Sheldon, 25X1 Mr. Dulles: a) Noted the following points discussed at the 0CB 25X1 25X1 meeting on 14 Decembers 1) The 0CB a greed that all information should be used in the reports of deporta- tion by the Soviets o ungar an citizens to Russia. ACTION: DD/P 2) Deputy Under Secretary of State Robert Murphyts concern over the monitoring of RFE broad- casts. The Director said he had advised the OCB 25X1 it was his impression that tapes are used for these broadcasts and asked Mr. Helms to check with Cord gar Meyer and advise him F_ I 25X1 ACTION: DD /P 25X1 3) The OCB agreed that the U. After some discussion it was agreed that decision on this would be held in abeyance for a week or so, ACTION: A/DD/P to bring this up at a later date. 25X1 Mr. 25X1 a) Referred to the Director?s briefing before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on 12 November and recommended that the item referring to the history of the Egyptian raids on the Israelis be redone in view of the fact that some of these raids had taken place prior to the time the Egyptians had received arms from the Soviets. Mr. Amory commented he was scheduled to speak at the Air War College on the 28th and the Director asked him to reschedule this talk in order that he be here at the time the Committee is. Mr. Amory: Referred to a letter from Amb, U. Alexis Johnson recommending that Service Attaches receive OAR briefings prior to assuming their duties.
