b) Stated that in view of the present situation in the
Middle East and the inadvisability of his making a trip
at the present time he has decided to forego the Southern *rip
he had planned commencing March 30.
c) Noted that on Saturday he had had a telephone calf
from Senator Symington concerning the revised intelligence
estimates on the Soviet Bison aircraft. He staked that he was
preparing a letter to Symington in which he desired to give as
full information as possible on a non-classified basis and asked
that Messrs. Kent, Sheldon and ~ get together with him
later in the day to review this etter.
d) Requested to send a cable to our various
field stations where Vice President Nixon has visited to find
out who of our people have been in touch with the Vice President
and a report of what has been said in any such contacts,
