Mr?. Reber called to say that there were no items for the
IAC meeting on Thursday. Told him the General wanted an IAC meeting
Thursday to discuss recent rumors in regard to commencement of Third
World War in September. 0/NE will prepare a crash estimate on this.
There may also be a presentation by the 0/SO branch chief
on fabricated intelligence.
Called off Assistant Directors, meeting as there were no
items for the agenda.
Talked to Mr. Wolf about the letter from Senator Humphrey.
Believe the General has not as yet called the Senator.
