Received a phone call from ~ from Manchester,
New Hampshire, inquiring if he had been rejected or whether CIA
could use his services. I thereupon phoned of Personnel
and asked him to ascertain what offices might have an interest in
experience. to whom I returned the file, promised
to carry through on this with some expedition. I have undertaken to
call 0 when some decision has been reached.
General Davison called with an invitation for the DCI
to go. duck shooting with him in Canada, beginning Monday, the 8th
of October through the 10th. I referred this to
who promised to follow through.
