and the attached memorandum of February 16, both dealing with
the need for coordination of United tates programs in Korea.
I entirely recognise the necessity for close coordination iu
Washington and in the field, particularly during this difficult
period in our relations with the ftepetblic of Korea.
In accordance with your request I am instructing my staff
make sure that no oversights occur in the implem.ntati#u of
proper coordination at the Washington level, FI
along the same lines. I will appreciate it if you Will call to my
attention any lapses which you may perceive in the future with
respect to this subject.
