At the time of my recent visit, Chairman Khrushchev, at my request,
directed that a copy of a film depicting the Soviet program for electrical
power production be delivered to me. The film, with a sound track
in English, illustrates the very high priority the Soviets give to over-
taking the United States in the "energy race. " There will be a first
screening of the film on Wednesday, November 21, at 10:30 a. m.,
at the USIA film theater (Room 308). We would be honored if you
could join a small group from Interior, State and others who have
expressed interest in its content.
Would you let me know if you can attend and also provide us with
a small list of others in CIA who would be interested in joining us
for this event. The capacity of the theater is quite limited so we
would appreciate hearing from you as soon as possible.
