REFERENCE: Watch Committee Chairman's Memorandum to the NIC, 20 July 1963
In line with referenced instruction, I have selected Colonel William M.
Hargett, USAF to replace Colonel James J. Hausman, USAF as Deputy Director, NIC.
Colonel Hargett, who has just terminated his assignment with the (former) J-2, JCS, is
an experienced intelligence officer and appears admirably qualified. He is already
available for duty with the NIC.
