Many thanks for your congratulatory letter of
12 March. It reached me in Washington after I had
reported for duty on 15 March and, as you might well
expect, I have been heavily engaged ever since.
I suppose I should know by now, but I am not
sure just how we in the Agency go about acquiring assist-
ance from the military. However, I will have my people
look into the possibility of getting you on our payroll or
at least so mehow giving us a hand because I would be
delighted to have you on my team.
