On 18 July, the Technical Security Group of the Office of Special
Investigations, USAF, had an urgent requirement for specific items of
technical equipment. This equipment had to be obtained within a
matter of hours.
Because of the support that has been given us in the past, and
the excellent and close relationship that exists between our agencies,
we turned to your tech people for assistance. Through the efforts of
STA
the research, supply and funding transactions, which ordinarily con-
sume several days, was accomplished in about two hours. The success-
ful completion of our mission can be attributed primarily to the
support which you gave us.
I wish to express our gratitude for the help that we have received
on this and several other occasions, and assure you of our sincere
