MEMORANDUM FOR THE DD/I
1. The DDCI directs that arrangerr.ients be made, effective
immediately, for a copy of the President's Intelligence Check
List to be delivered directly to General Carroll at the time of
the courier delivery of the Check List to secretary M:McNaniara
each morning.
2. The Check List for General Carroll will be for his
information personally and solely.
3. The understanding will be that you should arrange for
back copies of the Check Lists delivered to Carroll to be picked
up for return to CIA every three or four (days. They are not to

be kept on file in General Carroll's office and General Carroll
understands this.
