SUBJECT: Meeting with Staff Members of the
joint Committee on Atomic Energy
1. This memorandum contains a recommendation for approval
the Director of Central Intelligence. Such recommendation is
contained in paragraph 3.
Z. In recent contacts with them, Messrs. John Conway and
orge Murphy, of the Joint Committee on Atomic Energy staff, have
indicated an interest in visiting the Headquarters building. In view
,ter. Conway' a recent elevation to the position of Staff Director, I
think it might be desirable to have him and Mr. Murphy visit us. The
recess might be a good time to suggest such a visit.
3. If you agree, I will make arrangements for Messrs. Conway
td. -urphy to visit the Headquarters building, for luncheon with you
possible or at a time when you might meet with them briefly. Also,
will arrange an appropriate tour of the building.
