i. This memorandum is for information only. It concerns
the status of the Security Reindoctrination Program.
2. A working outline of the Security Program is being rapidly
developed with efforts to maintain a balance between the sophisticated
professional approach and the application of the security lesson to all
levels of Agency personnel. To accomplish this end the lecture
portion of the Program will be liberally supplemented with film strips
and animated training aids portraying the history and growth of the
'Intelligence Community and the resultant overall increase in the
security problem.
3. Although an attempt will be made to test run the narrative
text in the middle of October, nevertheless, the time required to
obtain appropriate film and animation aids leads us to estimate that
it will be approximately two months before the presentation can be
launched Agency wide.
We will continue to give this Program high priority and
