The President's Board of Consultants is meeting on Thursday and Friday, 2 and 3 October, and have asked that the Director meet with them on Thursday, 2 October, from 11 o'clock through lunch. The Board has indicated that they would like to have this meeting alone with the Director and that on Friday, the 3rd, there will be a time available if the Director wishes to have others from this organization meet with them. The Board has indicated that they would like to have the follow- ing subjects covered: a. Iraq b. Indonesia c. Relations with Congress d. Status of action on recommendations The DCI has indicated that he would like to discuss: b. The role of the Bureau of the Budget 2. For your information, the Board is also planning to meet with representatives of the Baker Committee and to have General Breitweiser discuss with them the effect of the Pentagon reorganization on the intelligence structure of the Department of Defense.
