I have at long last had an opportunity to carefully study the DD/P
comments on the IG Survey of the NEA 1Division and recommend the
Director reply as follows:
The recommendations contained in the IG Survey Report on the
NEA Division are approved as proposed in the attachments- to this memo-
randum with the following exceptions: (Note: Exceptions are markcd
pap r slips)
1. Attachment 7, pages 31 and 32: Vigorous action be
taken by the C/NEA to obtain additional CI officers by training
qualified personnel within the Division or obtaining such personnel
from other components of the Agency. e.g., personnel returning
