Dear Neil:
I have delayed answering your good letter of
February 3 because I had a problem with regard to
the weekend in May which you had suggested as a
time for a visit to you both in Cincinnati. Unfortunately
I had already tentatively committed myself to attend
a meeting at MIT to review the results of the last ten
years of their work for the Center for International
Studies in which I have always taken a very deep interest.
After further correspondence with them, I fear that I
must be in Massachusetts over that weekend. much to
Glover's regret and mine.
'We both sincerely hope that this will not
prevent us from finding a time one of these days when
we can get together.

Camilla will be writing to you as soon
as she gets over the wedding deluge,
but until she does perhaps this will
suffice to say:
First, that we received your wire, and
while we are disappointed that you won't
be able to get to Bitsey's wedding, we
well understand that this is a very busy
tima in Washington for Allen.
Second, however, we are still hopeful
that the May 19-20-21 weekend will seem
to both of you to be a time when you
might enjoy the late Cincinnati spring,
with its fine tennis weather and at least
the possibility of some good swimming.
We want you very much - if it fits your
book.
