Many thanks for your note of April ZOth, and my
congratulations on the honor you have received from the
Legion of Honor. I too am s member of the Legion. I
don't know quite what my rank is, probably junior to you,
but I have the right to wear a little red rkaobbi~" rather
than. just a piece of red string. In any event,, I consider it
an organization of which I am flattered to be a member.
About the book -- the facts are that my plans are
too vague, and my time too restricted, to really seriously
think about anything of this kind, and I have had to tell one
or two others who flatteringly expressed an interest, that I
commitment about something that I did
could not make any
