The Committee's work would not be complete without
expressing to you our appreciation of the outstanding con-
tribution which your organization made to our efforts. As
you will recall, the Committee asked a variety of CIA offices
and individuals for information and assistance. Without ex-
ception, every request was expeditiously and cheerfully met.
In particular. I wish to cite the work of your Special
Assistant, ho, from the beginning of ?TAT
our Committee's work has provided us wit"hi R, wide V. iety of
information and many useful suggestions. met every STAT
request even though many were on weekends or at night.
Your Graphic Arts Branch assisted us tremendously in
the charts and illustrat=ions appearing in our reports. In
order to meet printing deadlines, much of the art work was
done at night and on weekends. In ;particular,

Mutual Security Program.
