Dear Mr. Knoche:
I could not let another day go by without
thanking you and expressing to you how pleased I
was to be introduced to Mrs. Tucker yesterday, and
what's more to be introduced as a fellow Pennsylvanian!
As they say in the vernacular--"it was a real upper."
I'm certain that our presentation to Mrs. Tucker
was more than anyone could have expected from
the CIA, and Mrs. Tucker generated a warmth and
humaneness the auditorium has yet to know.
I was very proud to be a part of what she represents,
and also very proud to be a part of what this Agency
represents--a statement I'm sure that might not set
too well with some, but we all must stand by what
we feel is right.
So, now rather than take up any more of your
.most valuable time, I will thank you once more
and reiterate Mrs. Tucker's response to my statement
that she was tremendous and that was - "All us
Pennsylvanians are tremendous."
Sincerely,
.Approved For Release 2004/03/17 : CIA-RDP80MOOl65A001100110023-6
