2. On the surface there appears to be no barrier to our conveying
this publication directly to U.S. corporations who have overseas activities.
However, one is faced with developing a mailing list for possible use. 25X1
In discussing this with SA/DDCI Cord Meyer, he notes that we have successfully
handled the dissemination of information on terrorism via State and Commerce
and he sees some-pitfalls in a direct-mail undertaking.. He has suggested
that we clear with State and ask them.. to circularize the existence of this
publication in the private sector noting that copies can be.obtainned from
the Library of Congress or-by direct. request to the Department.
3. With your approval, we will proceedon this basis keeping-in-mind
that George Cary is free to drop copies on those Committeesand Congressmen
indicated above.
