I know you will be happy to hear that your people did
a superb job in supporting the Defense Nuclear Agency in
the performance of recent research. Of
particular value to us was the highly effective manner in
which necessary CIA resources were brought together when it
became clear that timely and responsive actions were needed
to complete the mission. The staff of the Nuclear Energy
Division was willing to commit long hours and to provide the
cooperative atmosphere which made a tough job a very success
ful one. Please convey my special thanks to
for his vital contributions.
It is always a great pleasure for me to pass on my
sincere appreciation to those who have put forth that extra
effort, and to say than] you for a job well done!
Sincerely,
R. R. MONROE
