The GAMMA 77 Politico-Military Simulation will be
held at the Pentagon from 7 through 11 November 1977.
The exercise will bring together a cross section of
civilian and military leaders to address a broad range
of U.S. national security issues.
The success of such a simulation is largely determined
by the knowledge and perceptions of the participants.
With this in mind, I plan to invite senior members of
Executive Branch agencies, including Mr. Cord Meyer and
from your staff. I would appreciate
your making them available to participate if their
schedules permit. Assuming your concurrence, I am
sending each of them a personal letter of invitation.
