SUBJECT: National Security Council (NSC)
Staff Request for Information
1. Action Requested: Your approval to pass the
attached information on U. S. intelligence activities
in or against Cuba to the NSC Staff.
2. Background: On 25 July 1977, Bob Pastor, the
NSC Staff member for Latin America, requested information
on what intelligence activities were currently being
conducted in or against Cuba. He wanted the information
by close of business Tuesday, 26 July 1977. The informa-
tion was requested as background for Dr. Brzezinski, who
will be meeting with Senator Church this week.
