Although the Scientific and Technical Advisory Panel
has only met twice, I am impressed with the dedication and
role the Panel has demonstrated.
The purpose of the Panel is well founded and its
deliberations and advice will improve the Agency's ability
to accomplish its mission. The Agency faces many problems
and threats which I am confident the Panel can help solve..
For myself and the Agency, let me say thank you. I
firmly believe that the Agency is well served by having the
advice of such dedicated and talented citizens, and I leave
with a good feeling that the Agency will be supported by
such a distinguished and capable group. I heartily endorse
