SUBJECT : Personnel Ceilings for 1970 and 1971
1. As a result of my conversation with Col. White on
13 January, the following changes to the Office of the
Director ceiling will take place:
(a) The Office of the Assistant to the
Director will reduce one position
by 30 June 71. This position will be identified
by at a later date.
(b) The Office of the Director will absorb
an additional ceiling reduction of two over those
stated in Col. White's memorandum of 30 December
1969. This reduction will offset an increase of
two positions given to OGC. The new ceiling for
the Office of the Director will be 0 for Fiscal
Year 1970 and 0 for Fiscal Year 1971.
(c) The following positions will be eliminated:
Position 303; Position 005; Position 317; Position
0328; Position 0022 incumbency will be reduced from
3 to 2; Position _4 will be transferred to the DDS.
2. Positions to be eliminated in Fiscal Year 1971
will be decided by Col. White at a later date.
