SUBJECT DCI Personnel Ceiling Problem
With the receipt of the DCI Area FY'1974 mark for per-
sonnel and funding a small flap surfaced. This was the
result of our (AO) not having received notice of your
authoriztion of an increase in the staffing in diate
Office of the IG from This STAT
currently puts us over our FY 97 ceiling. However,
savings obtained through the dissolution of ONE should per-
mit us to absorb the IG increase during this fiscal year.
In the future I will endeavor to insure that such
requests come to you through the Administrative Office in
order that proper staffing can be accomplished to assist
you in making your decision.
