from GS-15 to GS-16
1. Action Requested- Your approval to upgrade position
0032 (1 of 3 , GS-1 sistant General Counsel to GS-16 and
redesignate the position as Associate General Counsel.
2. Basic Data: Position Management and Compensation
Pivision OP has reviewed the position (occupied b
and has determined his responsibilities
warrant upgrading of the position. As an offset to this
upgrading, AO/DCI recommends the simultaneous downgrading
of an unoccupied GS-16 position in the Office of National
Estimates. Current projections are that this position will
not be required on the National Intelligence Office table of
organization.
3. Staff Position: Attached is a memorandum from Chief,
Position Management an Compensation Division, OP indicating
the allocation of the position at the GS-16 level is appropriate.
4. Recommendation: Approval of OGC upgrading and ONE
downgrading.
