of HUMINT ADP Capabilities
A priority objective of the Office of HUMINT Tasking is the
TAT
creation of an automated support capability for the National HUMINT
Tasking System. To provide an integrated and comprehensive repository
for human source tasking and reporting of both the Intelligence and
the Foreign Affairs Community elements, discussions are underway with
a variety of computer file managers. If possible, the goal is to
achieve as expeditiously as it can be done, a registry which feeds on
and weaves together existing computerized data bases and networks, as
a complementary facility to the National Intelligence Tasking Center.
In a related undertaking, the Information Handling Committee is
sponsoring a study designed to provide a computer file, available
to both collectors and producers in the Community, containing all

two surveys should identify whether existing computer files can be
bridged and tapped, or whether new systems requiring both hardware
and software will be needed.
