I enclose, for your files, a copy of the
Briefing Notes which I used at the meeting which
the President had with Congressional Leaders,
July 14, 1958, 2:30 p.m. , in connection with the
Middle East crisis.
These notes were clo3ely followed in my
presentation, but with some additions and there was
of course, a question-answer period not included
in these notes.
