SUBJECT Commendation
1. You are commended for your fine contri-
butions to our intelligence support to senior US
policy-makers in the days and weeks following the
outbreak of the October Arab-Israeli War. The
President and Secretary of State Kissinger have
commented directly on the excellence of this
support and its contribution to effective crisis
management.
2. I know that the hours you devoted to this
work were long ones and that round-the-clock op-
erations imposed burdens on you. Nevertheless,
your work reflected credit on you and on the Agency.
