Dear Mr. Colby:
I have just returned from Hawaii to find your letter
of 10 April 1974 awaiting me. You were most thoughtful
and kind to write to me concerning my selection to
receive the AEC Distinguished Service Award. I realize
that the wonderful people, both contractor and AEC, in
the Albuquerque production complex are the ones who
earned this recognition. I consider myself only to be
the custodian of this award.
It has been a privilege and a pleasure for me to work
with your people since 1965. My association with your
organization is one of the highlights of my career,
and has been of great value to me in my various assign-
rients,
