community. Needless to say, we ~tre all working to develop the
policies sad procedures which will ie~plement the President's
directive. All of us are busily eu~aged is this exercise right now,
and you may bd sure that we are glad to have your views.
With respect to the reaction of the military to the new d~velop-
ments, l can well believe that some cf them might be apprehensive,
but I can assure yon that I wsrold be the last to interfere with primary
service missioas or the need of the fiskl eomnunder for tactical
military intelligence.
