3. Action. Per my conversation with
T n Thursday, please take appropriate
action regarding State's proposal to publish in
an unclassified journal two items of DCI
correspondence on Soviet nuclear matters. The
15 Dec. 1947 item is really a very early version
of an SNIE.
Please check with interested Agency
offices and prepare a letter to State noting the
two items of interest to CIA and expressing the
Agency's position on the matter.
