I. At the pre-U5113 meeting on 15 November in connection with the
paper prepared by OSI on electronic transmissions. the Director expressed
great interest in what was being done In the cenunuaicatiose security field. He
said he wanted to be sure that everything possible was being done to protect our
communications, node; his concern at the Soviet building across from our
Embassy in Athens and the location of the Soviet Military Attache across from
the house of Douglas Dillon in Georgetown. The Director indicated that he would
like the U818 to consider what COMSEC was *ping. and particularly whether our
views were being seriously considered by the Department of State.
