SUBJECT : Review and Analysis of Intelligence Handling
of Evidence on Soviet Offensive Weapons in
REFERENCE: Cuba
You are requested to prepare as soon as practicable a
careful review and analysis of all aspects of intelligence collection,
analysis, reporting and estimating on the delivery of Soviet Offensive
Weapons in Cuba. You may call directly on DD/P and DD/R for
assistance from their Deputy Directorates as needed in the preparation
of this analysis. The report, to be rendered to the Director through my
office, should carry appropriate security classification. It should be
designed, however, to provide the essential information needed for a
short public statement on the subject.
