I noted in the room being used for the Intelligence Methods
Conference that the oil paintings
of all of the previous Directors were hung except that of General Hoyt Vanden-
berg. Do we have a portrait of General Vandenberg? If we do not, will you
see if we can't make arrangements with the Air Force to get a copy of the
portrait that they must have.
2. I would also raise the point that all of the francs on these
portraits are different, and in fact the portrait of Admiral Hillenkoetter is a
different size from those of General Smith and Mr. Dulles. You might look
Into this also.
