I was pleased to learn of your safe escape from the
recent tragic events in South Vietnam.
I trust that the refugee relief processing system will
be able to ensure adequate handling of your case and that
the Voluntary Agencies, which are arranging for sponsorship
under this system, will find a proper place where your wide
range of capabilities can be used productively.
While the Central Intelligence Agency has no appropriate
vacancies at this time, you can be sure that you will be kept
in mind and that you will be contacted if a suitable vacancy
is found either within this Agency or on the outside.
Please accept my best wishes for a more happy life in
this country.

ked or the Agency during the last fourteen years.

I have managed and successfully escapeu to reedom
and am now at reunited with my fami-
ly after more than three ,,reeks of separation..
I am writing you today expeting some assistance
for a start making a new life in this new society
of mine.
We are still noIg confined in the pe- meter of the
refugee camp pending securitycclearance and forrna-
lities of sponsorship.
I still desire to serve the Agency in any position
which would be offered to me. My dependents in-
clude six persons, my wife and five children of
whom my second daughter now p suing her college
education in France, and my first son studying at
.Monterey Peninsula College in his freshman year.
