Presidential
Objectives
1. DCI's Objectives for the Intelligence Community
In preparation for meeting with OMB on 3 April, All
met with Group Chiefs to work out action responsibility
in addressing status of actions responding to objectives.
Upon receipt of inputs from Groups, will prepare overall
status report. Action Officer: CS/I I
2. Economic Intelligence
DCI Presidential Objectives call for implementation
of an economic intelligence program by "the end of the
third quarter of FY 1974." Because the new economic
NIO will not be on Board until May, PRG
is drawing up the DCI's over-all economic intelligence
plan; D/MPRRG will provide assistance with respect to
the determination of "appropriate resources levels."

3. Proposed Transfer of CIA U-2's to USAF
Prepared and coordinated talking paper for DCI on
this subject for his use in meeting 8 March with Dr. Kissinger
and Dr. Schlesinger. Action Officer: MPRRG
4. Briefing Books for
Preparing briefing book on NSCIC and NSCIC WG
for review prior to his reporting to his new
assignment on the NSC Staff. USIB/IRAC Secretariat
preparing IRAC briefing book. Action Officer: CS1
