A letter is being forwarded to Gen. Allen requesting
NSA support of design of a secure voice conferencing system
in which any gray phone subscriber can conference with up to
four subscribers by dialing a common switch number at a

(1) Programming on computerized KEP
system continuing. System is scheduled to be
operational in Septexnbe r.. Formats have been
developed and.are bein tested. Action Officer:

(2) Baseline data on four of the eleven pilot
KIQs are on magnetic cards, All data will. be used
to create atape-fill for machine processing.

ASD(I), State, DIA., JCS, CIA, and IC Staff
representatives met on 6 June to develop plans and pro-
cedures for conducting review. At ASD(I} request,
arrangements being made to have
Mid East Post-Mortexn briefing to the ASD(I} panel.
CIA. and IC Staff otherwise maintaining only limited
