Following our telephone conversation last month., I have
re-examined with General Graham our requirements for
services. He has continued to Anake a valuable
contribution to our study of the intelligence warning problem.
General Graham expects that he will play a key role as we Move
to improve community procedures and mechanisms in the warning
arena.
You will recall that was detailed to the Intelligence
Corn .unity Staff for a period of nine to twelve months, effective
l August 1973. it is any understanding that the Air Force is willing
to extend 1detail until the summer of 1975. In view
of his value to our on-going effort to improve crisis management
procedures, we would welcome such an arrangement.
Again, I wish to express my appreciation for your assistance
and support of the Intelligence Community Staff.
