NOTE FOR: Chairman, SIGINT Committee
SUBJECT: Augmentation of SIGINT Committee Staff
1. The DCI and the CIA Comptroller have verbally approved
the augmentation of the SIGINT Committee staff. Although we have
not received formal notification of this approval and we do not
have. as yet an approved T/O I think it is safe to proceed with the
identification of individuals for these positions and start the
clearance process.
3. As far as the secretary is concerned I have asked
prepare a vacancy notice which will be circulated
immediately within CIA. It will take 30 - 60 days to complete
the process of getting someone aboard.
