Submission Instructions, February 1975
1. Since requests for detailed intelligence resources
information have become more frequent, it is appropriate
to reiterate the policy for access to, and release of,
information contained in the CIRIS data base.
2. NFIP program managers may request formatted infor-
mation on their own program based on their data sub~iissi:in
to CIRIS. This includes current or historical, detailed
or aggregated, machine coded or clear, tape or printout,
in any feasible tabular or graphic format. Requests will
be handled as expeditiously as possible within ICS uachiie
and manpower resources.
3. Requests for program aggregate information, e.g.;
General Defense Intelligence Program or Central Intelligenc
Agency Program totals, will be honored on a need-to-knob
basis.
4. Requests for information below the program level
from users other than the originators of the data will
not be honored without specific release approval being
secured from the originator(s) of the data. If approval
is given, the program manager concerned will be provider!
copies of each output.
